Drama as unsatisfied man demands cash back from prostitute.

A 25-year-old Seke man allegedly demanded his money back from a commercial se x worker because she had not “satisfied” him, after which he proceeded to rob her of US$38, a magistrates’ court has heard.

Tapiwa Mubaiwa of Zhanje village in Seke now faces the prospect of doing jail time or paying a fine for robbery, a charge he pleaded not guilty to when he appeared before Chitungwiza magistrate Ms Yeukai Chigodora last Wednesday.
Prosecutor Mr Norman Koropi told the court that Mubaiwa approached the woman in a nightclub on October 9, 2017 and the two agreed on a US$3 fee for their inti mate liaison.
Soon after the froIic, it is alleged, Mubaiwa demanded his money back, but the woman stuck to her guns insisting that “a deal is a deal”.
“This enraged the accused who held the complainant’s hand and tried to take the money by force,” said Mr Koropi. “The complainant tried to run away, but was tackled by the accused who went on to choke her.”
Mubaiwa allegedly grabbed a plastic bag with US$38 from the prosti tute and vanished.
He was arrested following a police report.
In pleading not guilty, Mubaiwa told the court that he had never met the complainant.
Ms Chigodora remanded him out of custody to Tuesday.
